Would You Rather Fly Or Be Invisible

I would rather be invisible. Why? Well I get ignored by my family most of the time, so I'm probably already used to it. Since invisibility is the same thing I would rather be invisible than fly.

Having to choose between spending your holiday at the beach in NZ or overseas

I would have to choose staying in NZ rather than going overseas. Why? Well I've always been scared of height and of the plane crashing.

Would You Rather Go Back In Time Or Stop Time

Would You Rather Go Back In Time Or Stop Time

I would rather go back in time since there we're a lot of extraordinary events in the past I haven't experience. Such as, the first landing of the moon.

Would You Be A Wizard Or A Superhero

Would You Be A Wizard Or A Superhero

Being a wizard sounds really fun! Although being a superhero is getting work done and having fun at the same time. So I would rather be a superhero than a wizard.

Would you rather slide on a rainbow or jump on clouds?

Would you rather slide on a rainbow or jump on clouds?

I would rather jump on clouds since you could have a extremely beautiful view of the world and the sun.

Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso is a famous Spanish artist, born in the 18th century and was born in Malaga, Spain. Mostly known for his paintings, especially his most famous one “Guernica”.

One of his greatest achievements was called the “Lenin Peace Prize”; he also succeeded in taking responsibility for supporting others, especially the “Nationalists”. He’d hoped that he would be a model for determination and creative risk-taking. He didn’t really overcome his dyslexia but used his dyslexia as an influence to his famous artwork. He influenced other artists by helping develop a different art style called cubism and collage.I believe that he’d been the one that created the art era in the 1950s, the era where art was beginning to get up to its prime.

Christian's End

Dear Diary,

Death defying bombs go off outside our school, the whole school was terrified. We went under full lock down. The bombs kept getting closer and closer, I thought it was my end. IT WAS CHAOS!! Everybody was running and screaming. BLOOD WAS SPLATTERED EVERYWHERE LIKE GRAFFITI! Organs hanging from the open bodies, all I could see was red. I ran home like as fast as cheetah, passing a corpse laid on the ground like a dead leaf. The brightness of fire burning my eyes, the heat was too powerful. I was near my house, fire just blocking my way, all I can see is my red front door.

Sailing

Sailing

On the 10th of May, 2021, we went sailing at Okahu Bay, thanks to St Johns Rotary and Yachting New Zealand for giving us this opportunity.

We were taught how to set the boat up and most importantly, we got taught how to sail a boat. We started by raising the sail up and then we did the other complicated parts. They taught us how to steer the boat and how to use the sail properly. If you wanted to steer right you had to turn the tiller right, its basically "turn right to go left and turn left to go right." The sail works like clockwork. To control the sail you hold a rope connected to the sail. The point of the rope is to control the sail as the wind goes past it, when the wind is too hard you roll the rope up so it can be easier to control it when the wind is hard.

We started by getting on the boat and then getting connected to the main speed boat. Once all of us were connected, the instructors pulled us behind their inflatable boats. Once we were in the deeper area we got faster and faster, We then played some games like Ball Tiggy and Numbers. At the end we were just roaming around the ocean. Sailing was fun!

I recommend that others should go sailing. Thanks to St Johns Rotary and Sailing NZ for a great day.

Diary Entry

Dear Diary,

It's adoption day! I hear the vehicles passing by as I pack my stuff. I can feel the nerves stabbing in my body as my friends play downstairs. As I got in the car the aroma changed from warm and homely to old and fresh. On the drive home the reflections of the suns rays shone on my window as the blossom leaves fluttered to the ground. I passed by my new neighbors, I saw the same girl from the orphanage, her beautiful blonde hair waving into the wind and the sun reflecting on her beautiful blue eyes. I AM HOME!!

Values

Today we discussed our values. We had to dig deep and thought hard about what really counts. I chose people as something I value because I thought about if the world ended tomorrow and what would I do first or miss. I thought of people because I think that us humans represent life and death, and how we have a life to live.

This is a person standing on top of the world representing all of us humans and all of the livings things.

Stations Of The Cross 2021

               Introduction

Stations Of The Cross is a religious play, played by the seniors in school to teach the young how Jesus died.

There were 14 stations so it was pretty long. All of us got a chosen role, some were villagers and some of us were Roman Soldiers. I was a soldier.

The hardest part was when we carried the cross onto the stage. Once we put Jesus onto the cross, one of the soldiers would give me a nail one by one, while I would hammer the nails into Jesus' on his arms. After all that, the next station was when Jesus died on the cross. I took down the arms of Jesus off the cross then laid him down on the ground. Two soldiers came up and rolled up a white cloth as if Jesus was in the burial cave. (No harm was done in this play)

This experience was  great! I learnt a lot about the death of Jesus, risk and sacrifice... even if its dangerous.

Always believe in yourself!

He and the sky

He and The Sky -
He always dreamt of the sky.
The Sky said “Hi” and he said “Goodbye”
and so did the sky.
The Sky is blue and who are you? Who is he?
and what do you see?
It seems you have no idea what you are reading,
maybe you're dreaming.
He flew to the sky,
into heaven,
he will not die because God loves his obsession.

My Day On Snow Mountain

On the weekend I went up the snow mountain.  It was a long journey.  After that I played snow ball fights with Jasper, Tong Tong and Icin.  Tong won.  Then I went to the food court near the white snow mountain.  I bought a cup of hot coco to warm me up.  IT WAS EXTREMELY HOT!.  Then I went skiing.  I crashed into a snowman.  It didn't fall over when I hit it.  After that I went to a Motel called Ossies.  It was a pretty little room.  Then I got dressed in my pyjamas and I went to sleep.  I was very tired because I had been busy having fun on the snow mountain all day.

Going To St Lukes Shopping Mall

In the weekend I went to St Lukes shopping mall. I went with my Mum, Dad and sister.  We went there because I needed to return my toy car to K Mart.  The car was called an Audi R8.  Unfortunately the car's wing fell out.  After we returned the car we bought a new toy Audi R8.  Next we went to the Factorie.  At the Factorie we bought a really cool hat for me.  Then we went home.  After that I had my medicine for my cold and then I went to bed.

Whanau Time

In the holidays I celebrated my sister's birthday.  My sister's name is Micaela.  We  went to a Korean restaurant to celebrate. At the restaurant Micaela had a birthday cake with candles on it.  She blew the candles out and we all ate a piece of cake.  After that my sister opened her birthday presents.  She was happy.

Then we went home.  When we got home we ate some more birthday cake.  It was a long day but we had fun.
